The Pi Sampler

The Pi Sampler is an Audio Sampler, which was developed to fill up a missing space in modern music instruments.

It was developed to bridge the gap between the new technologies and the old school way of sampling and enjoy the process.

The Pi Sampler isn't meant to load an ultra realistic piano sound, but instead to sample on the fly, play on the fly and use carefully chosen waveshaping options to change the sound in a pleasing way (well most of the time :) )

The Pi Sampler is a SAMPLER. therefore it can SAMPLE Audio, which is one thing I find rather frustrating by modern "Sampler" that in reality are just sample player.

That's where the fun starts.

Also the Pi Sampler takes advantage of modern computers and it was thought especially with Raspberry Pi in mind, but it can run on any computer with PureData be it Linux, Mac, PC, and even on iOS and Android (the last two thanks to PdParty and PDDroidParty)

The Sampler can use most USB Audio interface and MIDI interface and it's thought to run on a small screen, albeit it can run on any screen.

The sampler has an internal library of sounds and can record new sounds just by setting up the threshold, arming and as soon as the level goes above the threshold it will record, until it's disarmed.

It can also record it's own output, either for resampling with Effects, or to record a jam.
